Today many argue over whether Ukrainian enterprises will be able to compete with European ones if our country becomes a full member of the European Union. Supporters of European integration are confident that domestic producers that offer a wide product range, high quality, affordable price and excellent service, will be the reliable business partners for companies from the EU and other countries. This opinion is confirmed by the history of Kherson dredgers plant VVV Spetstekhnika.
The company was created not so long ago, in 2006, but today 50% of the products are exported: to Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, France, Lithuania.
VVV-Spetstekhnika specializes in production of dredgers under its own registered brand HCC, as well as repair and reconstruction of dredgers of all brands, - says company founder Nikolay Pchelnikov, - In addition, the company produces hardware for dredgers: slurry pipeline, milling rippers and more.
Today the range of dredgers includes 12 major series of 61 different modifications of various performance that allows us to offer our customers products that best meet their needs and objectives. In this case, it is possible to develop a special project and production of equipment taking into account the industry: the customer, and/or application.
Following the production of the dredge, the company’s specialists assemble the equipment at the customer’s premises, conduct commissioning briefing to the representatives of the customer working on the dredger to ensure correct operation of the equipment, compliance with technological standards and maximum effectiveness of excavation.
Director of VVV Spetstekhnika Vladislav Sotsenko tells Invest-Ukraine international business magazine about the quality policy implemented in the enterprise.
- The company has a certificate of compliance with the requirements of the Shipping Register of Ukraine number SVP 32-3-11-10. Also, the company has implemented ISO 9001:2008 quality management system for construction, refurbishment, modernization and repair of ships, hull structures, marine equipment and hydraulic dredges (N 31-351-12 dated 30.08.2012).
Dredgers are made on the basis of projects NSS 60-2000/23,3-67 .00.00.00.00 developed by the company’s specialists, as well as the "General Specifications for Engineering Products" (OST 36-085086), "Rules for Classification and Construction of Inland Navigation Vessels of River Register of Ukraine ","Regulations for Electrical Installations", "Sanitary Rules for Inland Navigation Vessels", "Uniform Rules for Safety in the Development of Mineral Deposits by Open Method" PB03-498-02.
Mr. Sotsenko, what you think is the main competitive advantage of the dredgers manufactured by VVV-Spetstekhnika?
- The advantage of our products is in the following: our dredgers have great depth of development using conventional horizontal pumps compared to other brands of earthmoving equipment produced in Ukraine; the ability to manufacture custom dredgers taking into account the industry of its use; NSS dredger has a lightweight design and modern and convenient systems management units. Our pontoons have a shallow draft, enabling work in shallow water.
All work is done by qualified personnel and comply with current EU standards, DBN, rules of the Register (including the quality of welds, system and measurement instruments).
We offer our customers good value for money and flexible pricing. For convenience of cooperation, VVV-Spetstekhnika allows the customer to control the process of equipment manufacturing. We provide turnkey solutions – up to the assembly and commissioning of the equipment. In addition, we always keep in touch with our customers both in the warranty and post-warranty period.
Mr. Pchelnikov, in a short time – just seven years from the founding date – your company has received many high awards. VVV-Spetstekhnika is included in the Register of Ukrainian enterprises, financial condition of which proves their reliability as business partners in Ukraine and abroad. According to the results of a unified national rating program of real economy leaders "National Business Rating" your company has received the titles "Leader of the Industry 2012" and "Company of the Year 2012", and in the international economic rating "League of the Best" (according to the European Rating Standard system) – took second place in Ukraine among the companies involved in the construction, modernization and repair of ships. What do you think is the main achievement of the company today?
- The main achievement is the fact that our customers come back to us with new orders. This proves the reliability of the products and the positive image of the whole enterprise.
It gives us the impetus to move forward, to improve and develop the enterprise and extend range of products.
